Clinical Overview
Liquid Paraffin (1.25ml/3.75ml), Milk of Magnesia (3.75ml/11.25ml), and Sodium Picosulphate (3.33mg) Suspension is a triple-action laxative combining a stool lubricant, an osmotic laxative, and a contact stimulant. Liquid paraffin softens and lubricates stools; Milk of Magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) draws water osmotically into the bowel lumen; and sodium picosulphate is activated by colonic sulfatases to stimulate myenteric peristalsis. Indicated for acute and chronic severe constipation, painful anorectal conditions (piles, anal fissures), and post-surgical bowel clearance.

Shake well before use. Take 10 to 15 mL orally at bedtime with a glass of water. Swallow directly; do not take lying down to avoid aspiration. Best taken at bedtime for morning bowel movement.

*Note: Individual physiological responses vary. While many patients experience few or no side effects, notify your treating physician if adverse reactions persist or if hypersensitivity (angioedema, skin rash, dyspnea) occurs.
Precautions & Warnings
Over-The-Counter laxative. Do not administer to bedridden or dysphagic patients due to severe lipoid pneumonia risk from mineral oil aspiration. Prolonged use may impair absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K).
