Clinical Overview
Oxetacaine, Aluminium Hydroxide, and Magnesium Hydroxide Suspension is an anesthetic antacid combination. Aluminium and magnesium hydroxides provide balanced, nonsystemic neutralization of gastric hydrochloric acid, raising gastric pH and inhibiting peptic activity without causing rebound hypersecretion. Oxetacaine is a potent, non-irritating surface anesthetic that retains local anesthetic efficacy in strongly acidic environments (pH 1-2), producing rapid and long-lasting relief from acute burning ulcer and esophagitis pain. Indicated for severe acute gastritis, esophagitis, heartburn, and peptic ulcer pain.
