Clinical Overview
Dried Aluminium Hydroxide (250mg), Magnesium Hydroxide (250mg), and Activated Dimethicone (50mg) Tablets and Suspension is a classic balanced antacid and antiflatulent on the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines. Aluminium hydroxide provides slow, prolonged acid neutralization (constipating), while magnesium hydroxide acts rapidly (laxative), providing a well-balanced bowel action.
