Clinical Overview
Dicyclomine Hydrochloride (10mg) with Activated Dimethicone / Simethicone (40mg per 5ml / Drops) is a pediatric and adult antispasmodic and antiflatulent combination. Dicyclomine relieves intestinal smooth muscle spasm via anticholinergic and direct musculotropic action. Simethicone is a non-absorbable surfactant that reduces surface tension of gas bubbles, causing them to coalesce into easily expelled bubbles. Indicated for infantile colic, flatulent dyspepsia, abdominal distension, and irritable bowel syndrome spasms.
