Clinical Overview
Tramadol Hydrochloride (50mg immediate-release) and Diclofenac Sodium (75mg sustained-release) Tablets combines a centrally acting dual-mechanism opioid with a potent peripheral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Tramadol dampens central pain transmission via mu-opioid activation and monoaminergic reuptake inhibition; diclofenac blocks peripheral COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes to eliminate tissue inflammation and prostaglandin-mediated sensitization of nociceptors. Indicated for severe acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical orthopedic pain, and severe osteoarthritic/rheumatoid joint destruction.
