Clinical Overview
Ilaprazole (10mg gastro-resistant) and Domperidone (30mg prolonged-release) combines a next-generation substituted benzimidazole PPI with a prokinetic antiemetic. Ilaprazole exhibits an extended plasma elimination half-life (~7-8 hours vs 1-2 hours for older PPIs), producing deeper, longer nocturnal gastric acid control and superior intragastric pH > 4 holding time. Domperidone ensures enhanced gastric emptying and lower esophageal sphincter competency. Indicated for nocturnal acid breakthrough, severe erosive esophagitis, and refractory GERD with nausea.
