Found 40 generic formulation(s) containing this active ingredient.
Amlodipine 5mg + Atenolol 50mg Tablets
Amlodipine and Atenolol is a classic dual-mechanism cardiovascular combination pairing a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker with a cardioselective beta-1 blocker. Amlodipine lowers peripheral vascular resistance and dilates coronary arteries, while atenolol reduces resting and exercise heart rates, suppresses cardiac contractility, and eliminates the reflex tachycardia typically triggered by dihydropyridine vasodilation. Indicated for essential hypertension and stable chronic angina pectoris.
Amlodipine Tablets 5mg
Amlodipine (or S-Amlodipine, the pure chirally active enantiomer with lower incidence of ankle edema) is a third-generation dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker on the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines. It inhibits transmembrane influx of extracellular calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle through L-type channels, resulting in potent peripheral arterial and coronary vasodilation with an exceptionally long half-life (30-50 hours). Indicated for essential hypertension, chronic stable angina pectoris, and vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina.
Amlodipine 5mg + Lisinopril 5mg Tablets
Telmisartan 40mg + Amlodipine 5mg Tablets
Telmisartan and Amlodipine is a synergistic dual antihypertensive formulation. Telmisartan blocks vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II at AT1 receptors and improves insulin sensitivity via partial PPAR-gamma agonism, while amlodipine selectively inhibits transmembrane calcium influx in vascular smooth muscle, producing peripheral arteriolar vasodilation. Telmisartan post-capillary venodilation mitigates amlodipine-induced pre-capillary peripheral ankle edema. Indicated for essential hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on monotherapy.
S(-)Amlodipine Tablets 2.5 mg
Amlodipine (or S-Amlodipine, the pure chirally active enantiomer with lower incidence of ankle edema) is a third-generation dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker on the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines. Olmesartan 20mg + Amlodipine 5mg Tablets
Olmesartan Medoxomil is a potent, orally active prodrug that is rapidly de-esterified during absorption to olmesartan, a selective and insurmountable competitive antagonist at the angiotensin II AT1 receptor. It produces profound, prolonged reductions in systemic vascular resistance and blood pressure throughout the 24-hour dosing interval.
