Clinical Overview
Montelukast Sodium (10mg) and Fexofenadine Hydrochloride (120mg Tablets, Suspension) is a non-sedating dual antiallergic combination. Fexofenadine is a pure second-generation H1-receptor antagonist that does not cross the blood-brain barrier (completely non-sedating), while montelukast blocks cysteinyl leukotriene CysLT1 receptors. Indicated for relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes, nasal congestion) in patients needing daytime alertness.

Usage Guidelines
Take orally 1 tablet once daily with water, with or without food. Avoid taking with fruit juices (grapefruit, apple, orange) which inhibit intestinal OATP1A2 transporters and reduce fexofenadine absorption by >35%.
General Administration Advice: Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage, frequency, and treatment course. For oral medications, swallow with sufficient water. Never stop antibiotics, psychiatric medications, or antihypertensives abruptly without clinical direction.
Possible Side Effects
Common: Headache, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, upper respiratory tract infection. Rare/Severe: Neuropsychiatric symptoms and severe hypersensitivity.
*Note: Individual physiological responses vary. While many patients experience few or no side effects, notify your treating physician if adverse reactions persist or if hypersensitivity (angioedema, skin rash, dyspnea) occurs.
