Clinical Overview
Combipack of Mifepristone 200mg (1 Tablet) & Misoprostol 200mcg (4 Tablets) is a sequential antiprogestogenic and prostaglandin regimen approved under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) Act for the medical termination of intrauterine pregnancy up to 63 days (9 weeks) of gestation. Mifepristone blocks uterine progesterone receptors, terminating fetal viability and sensitizing the myometrium, followed by Misoprostol which stimulates strong myometrial contractions and cervical dilation to expel gestational products.
