Usage Guidelines
Shake the bottle well. Administer orally using the measuring syringe: 5 to 10 mg/kg per dose every 6 to 8 hours as needed (maximum 30 to 40 mg/kg/day). Administer with milk or food.
General Administration Advice: Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage, frequency, and treatment course. For oral medications, swallow with sufficient water. Never stop antibiotics, psychiatric medications, or antihypertensives abruptly without clinical direction.
Possible Side Effects
Common: Mild stomach ache, nausea, diarrhea. Rare/Severe: Dehydration-associated acute renal injury, gastrointestinal bleeding, and hypersensitivity.
*Note: Individual physiological responses vary. While many patients experience few or no side effects, notify your treating physician if adverse reactions persist or if hypersensitivity (angioedema, skin rash, dyspnea) occurs.
Precautions & Warnings
Over-The-Counter pediatric antipyretic. Ensure the child is well-hydrated; dehydration dramatically elevates risk of ibuprofen nephrotoxicity. Contraindicated in infants <3 months (<5 kg) or with active varicella (chickenpox, due to secondary bacterial skin infection risk).
