Clinical Overview
Bilastine (10mg/20mg) and Montelukast (4mg/10mg Tablets, Orodispersible Tablets) is a modern, non-sedating antiallergic combination. Bilastine is a highly selective second-generation H1-antihistamine with zero anticholinergic activity and no blood-brain barrier penetration; montelukast blocks cysteinyl leukotrienes. Indicated for allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria.

Usage Guidelines
Take orally once daily on an EMPTY STOMACH: at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after food or fruit juice with water. Food and fruit juices significantly decrease bilastine bioavailability.
General Administration Advice: Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage, frequency, and treatment course. For oral medications, swallow with sufficient water. Never stop antibiotics, psychiatric medications, or antihypertensives abruptly without clinical direction.
Possible Side Effects
Common: Headache, dizziness, fatigue, gastrointestinal discomfort. Rare/Severe: Neuropsychiatric symptoms and QT prolongation (very rare).
*Note: Individual physiological responses vary. While many patients experience few or no side effects, notify your treating physician if adverse reactions persist or if hypersensitivity (angioedema, skin rash, dyspnea) occurs.
Precautions & Warnings
Must be taken on an empty stomach. Black Box Warning for montelukast neuropsychiatric events. Completely non-sedating.
