Deferasirox Dispersible Tablets (180mg, 250mg, 360mg, 400mg, 500mg) is an oral tridentate iron-chelating agent on the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines. It selectively binds ferric iron (Fe3+) in a 2:1 ratio, promoting fecal iron excretion and clearing excessive toxic systemic iron stores without redistributing iron to the brain. Indicated for treatment of chronic iron overload due to frequent blood transfusions in patients with beta-thalassemia major, sickle cell disease, and other chronic anemias (age >=2 years), and non-transfusion-dependent thalassemia syndromes.

Deferiprone Capsules 250mg
Deferiprone Capsules (250mg, 500mg) is an orally active bidentate iron chelator on the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines. It binds ferric iron (Fe3+) in a 3:1 ratio and easily crosses cell membranes, selectively removing intracellular iron from hepatocytes and cardiomyocytes (superior cardiac iron clearance compared to desferrioxamine). Chelation complexes are excreted predominantly in the urine. Indicated for treatment of transfusional iron overload in patients with thalassemia major when deferoxamine or deferasirox therapy is contraindicated or inadequate.
