Clinical Overview

Also known as Vitamin B9, it is vital for DNA synthesis, red blood cell production, cellular division, and healthy fetal development during pregnancy. Commonly known as Vitamin B6, this water-soluble vitamin is vital for protein metabolism, red blood cell synthesis, and supporting cognitive and nerve function. The active form of Vitamin D (Cholecalciferol) that is crucial for absorption of calcium and phosphorus, maintaining bone strength, and regulating immunity.

Usage Guidelines

Take 0.5-5mg daily as prescribed, ideally with water after meals. Take 10-100mg daily as prescribed, with water. Take 60,000 IU weekly or 1,000 IU daily with meals containing healthy fats.

General Guidance: Clean and dry the affected area completely before applying any topical cream, gel, or lotion. Unless specified, apply a thin layer and rub in gently. Always wash hands before and after application.

Possible Side Effects

Very rare; mild nausea or bloating. Sensory neuropathy when taken in extremely high doses (above 200mg/day) long-term. Hypercalcemia (elevated calcium in blood) with excessive supplementation.
