Indicated for prevention and treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis, osteopenia, pregnancy/lactation calcium demands, and bone fracture healing.

Usage Guidelines
Take orally 1 to 2 tablets daily with water. Calcium carbonate: Take strictly WITH or immediately after meals (requires gastric acid for optimal dissolution). Calcium citrate/citrate malate: Can be taken with or without food. Space at least 2 hours apart from iron supplements, thyroid medications (levothyroxine), and tetracycline/fluoroquinolone antibiotics.
General Administration Advice: Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage, frequency, and treatment course. For oral medications, swallow with sufficient water. Never stop antibiotics, psychiatric medications, or antihypertensives abruptly without clinical direction.
Possible Side Effects
Common: Constipation (calcium carbonate), flatulence, abdominal bloating, chalky taste. Rare/Severe: Hypercalcemia, kidney stones (nephrolithiasis with excessive unmonitored doses), and milk-alkali syndrome.
*Note: Individual physiological responses vary. While many patients experience few or no side effects, notify your treating physician if adverse reactions persist or if hypersensitivity (angioedema, skin rash, dyspnea) occurs.
Precautions & Warnings
Over-The-Counter bone supplement. Do not exceed 2000-2500 mg total daily elemental calcium. Drink plenty of water to prevent constipation. Contraindicated in hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, and active calcium kidney stones. Space iron and thyroid medications by 2 hours.
