Clinical Overview
Dapoxetine Tablets (30mg) is an oral, rapid-onset, short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) developed specifically on the WHO Model List framework for the on-demand treatment of premature ejaculation (PE). It rapidly inhibits the serotonin transporter (SERT), elevating serotonin levels in the synaptic cleft of the somatosensory and ejaculatory neural circuitry, delaying pudendal motoneuron reflex discharge and significantly prolonging intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT). Indicated for premature ejaculation in men aged 18 to 64 years.
