Clinical Overview
Paracetamol (500mg/650mg) and Caffeine (25mg/50mg) Tablets is an enhanced analgesic-antipyretic combination. Caffeine is a central nervous system methylxanthine stimulant and adenosine receptor antagonist; it constricts dilated cerebral blood vessels and accelerates gastrointestinal absorption of paracetamol, enhancing analgesic efficacy by approximately 30-40%. Indicated for acute relief of tension headaches, migraine attacks, fever, toothache, and musculoskeletal aches.
