Clinical Overview
Citicoline and Piracetam is a synergistic neuroprotective and nootropic formulation. Citicoline serves as an essential intermediate in the biosynthesis of structural neuronal membrane phosphatidylcholine and raises brain acetylcholine and dopamine levels, while piracetam, a cyclic GABA derivative, allosterically modulates AMPA receptors, improves erythrocyte deformability, enhances microvascular cerebral blood flow, and elevates neuronal ATP turnover. Indicated for cognitive dysfunction, acute ischemic stroke recovery, vascular dementia, post-concussion syndrome, and senile memory impairment.

Usage Guidelines
Take orally with water, divided twice daily, preferably before or with meals. Maintain consistent dosing as prescribed by the neurologist.
General Administration Advice: Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage, frequency, and treatment course. For oral medications, swallow with sufficient water. Never stop antibiotics, psychiatric medications, or antihypertensives abruptly without clinical direction.
Possible Side Effects
Common: Insomnia, nervousness, hyperkinesia, headache, nausea, diarrhea, weight gain. Rare/Severe: Severe psychomotor agitation, bleeding tendencies (due to platelet inhibition), and hypotension.
*Note: Individual physiological responses vary. While many patients experience few or no side effects, notify your treating physician if adverse reactions persist or if hypersensitivity (angioedema, skin rash, dyspnea) occurs.
Precautions & Warnings
Contraindicated in severe renal impairment (CrCl < 20 mL/min) and cerebral hemorrhage. Exercise caution in patients with underlying bleeding disorders or taking anticoagulants/antiplatelets due to piracetam's antiplatelet effects.
