Acotiamide Tablets (100mg) is a first-in-class prokinetic that selectively inhibits acetylcholinesterase (AChE) in the stomach, enhancing endogenous acetylcholine release and physiological gastric accommodation and antral contractions without dopamine D2 or serotonin receptor activity. Indicated specifically for postprandial distress syndrome (PDS) in functional dyspepsia (bothersome postprandial fullness, early satiety, and upper abdominal bloating).
