Clinical Overview
Eutectic mixture of local anesthetics (EMLA) providing deep dermal anesthesia prior to dermatological minor procedures, laser therapy, or needle insertions.
Active Ingredients
Usage Guidelines
Apply thick layer under an occlusive dressing for 30-60 minutes prior to procedure.
General Guidance: Clean and dry the affected area completely before applying any topical cream, gel, or lotion. Unless specified, apply a thin layer and rub in gently. Always wash hands before and after application.
Possible Side Effects
Transient paleness or redness at application site.
