Clinical Overview

Indacaterol (150mcg) and Mometasone Furoate (80mcg/160mcg/320mcg Powder for Inhalation) is an advanced once-daily LABA and inhaled corticosteroid combination. Indacaterol is an ultra-long-acting beta-2 agonist (ultra-LABA) providing 24-hour bronchodilator coverage from a single dose; mometasone furoate provides powerful glucocorticoid anti-inflammatory action with negligible systemic oral bioavailability (<1%). Indicated for once-daily maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and adolescents inadequately controlled with ICS/LABA combinations.
