Clinical Overview
Cefoperazone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium is a high-potency parenteral combination targeting resistant Gram-negative bacilli and anaerobes. Cefoperazone offers broad anti-pseudomonal and Gram-negative bactericidal coverage excreted primarily via the biliary route, while sulbactam inhibits beta-lactamases and possesses intrinsic activity against Acinetobacter baumannii. Indicated for intra-abdominal infections, biliary tract sepsis, hospital-acquired pneumonia, gynecological infections, and polymicrobial bacteremia.
