Piperacillin 4000mg + Tazobactum 500mg Injection
Piperacillin and Tazobactam is an extended-spectrum ureidopenicillin combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Piperacillin exhibits potent bactericidal activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterobacteriaceae, and anaerobes by inhibiting cell wall synthesis, while tazobactam inactivates plasmid- and chromosomally-mediated beta-lactamases. Indicated for nosocomial and severe community-acquired pneumonia, complicated intra-abdominal infections, complicated skin/soft tissue infections, febrile neutropenia, and complicated urinary tract infections.
Ceftazidime 250mg + Tazobactum 31.25mg Injection
Ceftazidime and Tazobactam is a parenteral combination designed to combat resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa and beta-lactamase-producing Enterobacteriaceae. Ceftazidime provides high intrinsic anti-pseudomonal bactericidal activity, while tazobactam inhibits beta-lactamases that would otherwise hydrolyze the cephalosporin ring. Indicated for nosocomial pneumonia, febrile neutropenia, complicated intra-abdominal infections, and severe urinary tract infections.
