🧴 Clinical Application
Take orally 200 mg once or twice daily with water. Sustained-release tablet provides smooth 24-hour therapeutic plasma levels. Swallow whole; do NOT crush or chew. Take preferably with or immediately after food at bedtime to minimize daytime somnolence.
⚠️ Side Effects
Common: Drowsiness/somnolence (oral route), dizziness, headache, breast tenderness, abdominal bloating, nausea, and vaginal discharge/leakage (vaginal route). Rare/Severe: Thromboembolic events (DVT, PE), cholestatic jaundice, depression, and severe allergic reactions.
