🧴 Clinical Application
Take orally once daily, in the morning or evening with a glass of water, with or without food. Take consistently at the same time each day. It typically takes 2 to 4 weeks to experience full therapeutic benefits. Never stop abruptly; taper slowly over several weeks to avoid SSRI discontinuation syndrome.
⚠️ Side Effects
Common: Nausea, insomnia, somnolence, increased sweating, fatigue, dry mouth, sexual dysfunction (delayed ejaculation, decreased libido). Rare/Severe: Boxed warning: Suicidal ideation in children/young adults; serotonin syndrome, QTc prolongation, hyponatremia/SIADH, and abnormal bleeding.
