Janaushadhi Kavach Masks and Protective PPE (3-ply surgical masks, N95 respirators, caps, shoe covers) is a high-filtration personal protective consumable on the PMBI Formulary. Constructed with melt-blown non-woven filtration layers providing >=95-99% bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) and particulate filtration efficiency (PFE), soft non-irritating elastic ear loops, and an adjustable nose clip for an airtight facial seal. Indicated for personal and clinical protection against airborne droplets, pathogens, dust, and particulate matter.

Usage Guidelines
Perform hand hygiene. Place mask over nose and mouth, secure ear loops around ears, mold metallic nose strip firmly over bridge of nose, and pull bottom under chin. Avoid touching the front surface of the mask while wearing. Discard in waste bin when damp or after single use.
General Administration Advice: Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage, frequency, and treatment course. For oral medications, swallow with sufficient water. Never stop antibiotics, psychiatric medications, or antihypertensives abruptly without clinical direction.
Possible Side Effects
Extremely safe. Mild localized ear discomfort from elastic loops with prolonged use.

Precautions & Warnings
Over-The-Counter protective barrier mask. Single-use only; discard after each shift or when moist. Replace immediately if soiled or breathing becomes labored.
