Testosterone Enanthate Injection 250 mg/ml is a long-acting esterified androgen in a sterile sesame/castor oil depot vehicle on the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines. Cleaved slowly by serum esterases, it releases bioidentical testosterone which binds to androgen receptors, restoring normal male physiological testosterone levels, promoting secondary sexual characteristics, nitrogen retention, bone mineralization, erythropoiesis, and libido. Indicated for male hypogonadism (primary testicular failure or hypogonadotropic hypogonadism), delayed puberty in adolescent males, and female-to-male (transmasculine) gender-affirming hormone therapy.
