Janaushadhi Suraksha Adhesive Bandages (Washproof) and Antiseptic Bandage Spray (Cetrimide 0.10% + Lidocaine 1.0%) is an essential first-aid wound dressing product on the PMBI Formulary. Suraksha strips feature an absorbent non-adherent wound pad impregnated with antiseptic, backed by a microperforated water-repellent adhesive film that protects cuts from water and dirt while allowing skin respiration. Antiseptic spray delivers instant surface local anesthesia and bactericidal protection with a quick-drying protective transparent film. Indicated for minor cuts, scrapes, abrasions, lacerations, and blister protection.

Usage Guidelines
Cleanse wound with clean water or antiseptic and pat dry. Remove protective backing from strip and center the absorbent pad over the wound. Press adhesive edges firmly onto dry skin. For spray: Shake and spray from 10 cm directly onto the cleansed scrape; allow to dry for 1 minute. Change bandages daily.
General Administration Advice: Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage, frequency, and treatment course. For oral medications, swallow with sufficient water. Never stop antibiotics, psychiatric medications, or antihypertensives abruptly without clinical direction.
Possible Side Effects
Extremely safe. Rare: Mild localized adhesive skin redness.

Precautions & Warnings
Over-The-Counter first-aid dressing. Change bandage immediately if it becomes wet, soiled, or loose. Seek medical attention for deep, puncture, heavily bleeding, or infected wounds.

Clotrimazole (1% w/w cream, lotion, or dusting powder) is a versatile broad-spectrum imidazole antifungal on the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines. It inhibits fungal cytochrome P450 14-alpha-demethylase, depleting ergosterol and increasing fungal cell permeability. Dusting powder formulation absorbs excess moisture in intertriginous skin folds, preventing fungal maceration. Indicated for tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, cutaneous candidiasis, and prevention of recurrence in sweaty body folds.

Beclomethasone 0.025% and Neomycin 0.5% Cream is an evidence-based dermatological formulation. It acts by delivering targeted active therapeutic ingredients to cutaneous lesions to relieve skin pathology, restore barrier integrity, and manage dermatoses.
Fusidic Acid Cream 2%
Fusidic Acid (2% w/w cream) is a steroid-like antibacterial agent that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by interfering with elongation factor G (EF-G) on the ribosome. Highly active against Staphylococcus aureus, including methicillin-resistant strains (MRSA) and Corynebacterium species. Penetrates intact skin effectively. Indicated for impetigo, folliculitis, erythrasma, furunculosis, and infected wounds.
