Glycolic Acid (6%, 12% cream or face wash) is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from sugarcane. It weakens the cohesion of corneocytes in the lower stratum corneum, promoting gentle chemical exfoliation, stimulating dermal collagen synthesis, and accelerating cell turnover. Indicated for mild-to-moderate acne, photoaging, rough texture, post-acne hyperpigmentation, and keratosis pilaris.

Usage Guidelines
Apply cream once daily at night to clean, dry skin. For face wash: lather gently over damp face for 30 seconds and rinse thoroughly with cool water. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen daily.
General Administration Advice: Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage, frequency, and treatment course. For oral medications, swallow with sufficient water. Never stop antibiotics, psychiatric medications, or antihypertensives abruptly without clinical direction.
Possible Side Effects
Common: Transient tingling, mild redness, peeling, dryness, photosensitivity. Rare/Severe: Chemical dermatitis and hyperpigmentation if overused.

Precautions & Warnings
Increases skin susceptibility to UV sunburn; broad-spectrum sunscreen is essential during use and for 1 week after. Avoid eye contours.
