⚠️ Side Effects
Common: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, pruritus. Rare/Severe: Severe pseudomembranous colitis, severe neutropenia, agranulocytosis, and anaphylactoid reactions.
🛡️ Safety Warnings
Boxed warning for severe colitis; discontinue at the onset of severe diarrhea. Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to lincosamides or prior antibiotic-associated colitis.
