Feracrylum

Feracrylum (1% w/v gel, solution, mouthwash) is a polyacrylic biocompatible hemostatic and antimicrobial agent. It complexes with plasma proteins (specifically albumin) to form an artificial micro-thrombus barrier, stopping capillary oozing within minutes while exerting broad-spectrum bactericidal activity without tissue necrosis. Indicated for control of localized capillary bleeding, minor surgical wounds, burn dressing, oral mucositis, and antiseptic wound care.

Feracrylum (3% w/w) and Centbucridine (0.5% w/w) Gel is a topical hemostatic, antimicrobial, and local anesthetic formulation. Feracrylum is an incomplete iron salt of polyacrylic acid that binds to plasma albumin, activating intrinsic coagulation to cause rapid local hemostasis within minutes while exerting antimicrobial action against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Centbucridine is a non-ester, non-amide local anesthetic that blocks nerve conduction without cardiotoxicity. Indicated for controlling capillary bleeding, painful superficial wounds, mucosal erosions, and post-surgical oozing.
